Breanne Mode, Founder & ceo
Breanne has over 13 years of experience in the accounting industry and got her start out in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, Breanne began working as an auditor with a local accounting firm where her client base consisted of non-profit organizations and foundations, manufacturing businesses, hotels, and retailers to name a few.
After several years working in Denver, she moved back to San Diego and transferred to the local office for BDO USA, LLP. BDO USA, LLP is the 5th largest accounting firm worldwide. While there, Breanne planned and oversaw the audits for clients in industries comprising financial services, clinical research, manufacturing, and fitness clubs to name a few. Her clients ranged in size from small private companies with $5million in revenues to large private companies with revenues in excess of $100million.
After over 5 years in public accounting as an auditor, Breanne decided to break free. She worked for Rady Children's Hospital for 3 years before becoming the Controller for a real estate developer located in downtown San Diego. It was from there that she decided it was time to pursue her dream of owning her own business and utilizing her skills to help those who would benefit the most: other small business owners.
Jennifer Escudero, Senior Accountant
Jennifer Escudero was born in Los Angeles, California and has over 15 years of accounting experience in the commercial and residential property industry. She earned her B.S. degree in Business from the University of Phoenix and is currently working towards a Master’s in Accountancy from National University. Prior to joining the Balanced Business team, Jennifer worked in nonprofit and public companies.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and walking on the beach.
Beth Davidson, Digital Media Manager
A Texas native, Beth shares over 15 years' experience in various aspects of marketing, including web and digital design, social media strategy, email marketing, and digital ad placement.
Beth appreciates making meaningful connections in a mission-driven environment and finding creative ways to solve problems and reach diverse populations. Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Colorado State University.
She enjoys being creative, hanging out in the mountains or on the beach—and especially going on adventures with her two adventurous daughters.
